A model from Victoria’s Secret recently revealed her favourite tips when eating at a restaurant, and a lot of the advice will surprise you.
VS runway stars are popular for their exceptionally toned bodies, but how they go about maintaining their physique may seem a bit counter-intuitive.
Bridget Malcolm, 25, says she often snacks prior to going out to a restaurant for dinner, and she avoids breaded foods completely.
The Aussie model wrote a blog entitled Smart Ordering When At A Restaurant, which takes a look at how much work is necessary to get a bikini body like hers.
Bridget says she is has a strict vegan, all plant diet, but she insisted that it’s easy to be both a vegan and dine in airports or even steak houses.
Now the model reveals how she keeps hunger under control by munching on snacks before going to a dinner.
Bridget said, "Eat a little bit before you get there. Don’t stuff yourself, but try having some water, nuts or fruit so you aren’t ravenous."
Although Bridget only eats vegan-approved foods, she occasionally enjoys cheat snacks like vegan-safe ice cream and sweet potato frites.
Another tip she hopes for dieters to try is to "research the menu before you go", and make a decision regarding what you want to order whilst still at home.
She added that she prefers not to be blind-sided or overwhelmed when ordering a meal, so she does this to “eliminates any decision fatigue/anxiety."
She added: "If there is nothing on the menu that works for my dietary habits, I just ask them to do me a plate of grilled vegetables."
If you love your desserts, Bridget suggests you have what you like, but adjust your entire dinner accordingly.
