As written on his website, Dr.Mosley said “There is overwhelming scientific evidence that a low carb Mediterranean-style diet — one rich in vegetables, olive oil, nuts and the occasional glass of wine or bite of dark chocolate — is better for weight loss, blood sugar control and improving cholesterol than going on a low fat diet,”
How Does It Work?
The 5:2 diet works around the idea that a quick drop in calories consumed will assist the body in draining its fat from your vital and major organs which in turn improves and stabilizes your blood pressure and reduce the amount of fat blocking the liver and other vital arteries. By cutting down your calorie intake to 800 for 2 days of the week, your body will naturally achieve these levels of benefits.
