Melania’s diet plan is disciplined, but she makes sure that she does not restrict herself when it comes to indulgences - particularly the sweet ones.
In an exclusive interview with GQ Magazine several years ago, Melania revealed that her day begins with a smoothie diverse in vitamin-content or oatmeal.
Melania makes sure to eat portions of fruit during the day, claiming that she aims to eat minimum seven pieces per day, all antioxidant-rich varieties.
Melania said that she does not have set categories of “appropriate” food snacks, but on the occasion that she does crave a snack she may go for her usual fruit or even a small piece of chocolate, saying that cravings and tastes should be indulged from time to time.
Melania added that the key to being able to enjoy the occasional sweet or sugary food is to ensure that the majority of your diet consists of healthy foods.
First Lady admitted she has a favorite “indulgent” meal
Melania did admit in the 2010 interview that her absolute favorite meal is the Chicken Parmigianino dish at the restaurant Jean Georges in New-York.
She also said that her favorite drink is Diet Coca-Cola from a glass bottle, not a can.
Melania’s French counterpart, French First Lady Brigitte Macron, is also known for her youthful, age-defying appearance: at 64, she maintains a trim figure generally young looking appearance.
Brigitte’s diet may also be the cause of her great appearance: like Melania, she consumes up to ten different sorts of vegetables and fruit per day, but also allows herself to indulge in cheese and wine on occasion.
